- I have a card that goes into the PC slot on an amiga that used to be used
- for mounting a 3/5 inch scsi drive. I know longer use it for a drive and
- am wondering if anyone knows about these cards - it has a 25 pin and a 9
- pin port on the the back. Are these serial ports? If so, can they be used
- as a second serial port on my amiga? I don't know anything else about the
- card execpt that it is made by SIK, Inc and is named I/O Extension A.3
-
- If it is possible to use this on the amiga it would make my life a lot
- easier, as I would be able to print directly from my amiTCP apps...
-
- Second question, I recently upgraded some of the chips in my 3000 to the
- latest revisions - the ramsey, the dmac, and the buster - as they were
- fairly old versions. Are the chips I took out compatible with my A2000?
- I guess I'm asking is it possible to make an OCS A2000 into an ECS A2000
- as I replace my A3000 chips?
-
- Thanks for any help...
